Empowering the Rural Poor

IIRD North America

Support

The majority of IIRD's development funding has been provided by the European Commission, the Government of Belgium, the Canadian International Development Agency, Anesvad of Spain, Lacim of France, and the Marianisti of Italy. A number of local organizations in Europe and a large number of private donors from American and many other countries, such as Germany, France, and Spain, have also assisted with monetary contributions. IIRD has received significant donations from local people in the working areas and from the Bangladeshi government, while BRAC (Bangladesh Center for Rural Advancement), the Bangladesh Silk Foundation, and various other organizations have provided logistical and technical support. Additionally, the Center for Economic and Social Justice in Washington, D.C. has worked very closely with IIRD to promote a new economic model for Bangladesh.

How to Volunteer/Donate:

As a non-governmental organization working towards poverty eradication, we depend on donors to sustain our programs. Various governments, international organizations and private foundations, as well as individuals have contributed to our efforts.

We would like to hear from you! If you are located in the USA, please direct all correspondence to the IIRD North America office. Thank you for your support!
